New project: Mood blanket

     This is my newest crochet project. Yes, I abandoned the other one. I was not inspired by it anymore and it was no longer enjoyable. I may pick it back up later, but one thing is for sure, sparkly yarn is hard to work with! My newest project is a simple accent blanket for my Master bedroom. The colors calm me and I really enjoy the simply granny squares. <3 When I finish all my squares I will probably attach them with a crisp white yarn; that's still undecided.

Mood blanket

    This is my first mood blanket. A crochet mood blanket is a blanket made of granny squares that are inspired by your moods day to day. Some people make one granny square a day and at the end of the year they have a blanket. I personally, am not committed to a year long project. I just make squares and collect yarn that inspire me for this day or season. When I'm finished making all my squares I will attach them using a white shimmery yarn. :-)

 The top row are sunburst granny squares. The bottom row are regular granny squares.
